Appointment of new CEO for Serco's Americas division

Serco Group plc ('Serco' or 'the Group'), the international service company, is pleased to announce the appointment of David J. Dacquino as Chief Executive Officer of the Americas division, which in 2016 had revenue of £0.7bn and approximately 8,000 employees.  The appointment follows the announcement in February that Dan Allen had informed the business of his intention to retire from this role in mid-2017.

Dave currently leads Serco Americas' Defence business, and will take on Dan's responsibilities over the coming weeks, including joining the Group's Executive Committee.  Dave joined Serco in 2015, bringing deep knowledge and experience from across the defence, aeronautics, logistics and technical services industries.  Before Serco, Dave served as President and CEO of SkyLink, a leading aviation and logistics service provider with international operations in over 60 countries.  Previous roles included: CEO for the North America operations of VT Group, a technology integrator with a strong focus on C4ISR, transportation, logistics and facilities management; Vice President and lead executive of Raytheon Technical Services Company's integrated support solutions division; and an extensive career at Lockheed Martin, where he ultimately held the position of Vice President and General Manager of logistic services and oversaw more than 3,500 personnel at 75 locations worldwide.
