Dividend Declaration

The Company announces that it proposes a final dividend of 6.4 pence per share in respect of the year ending 31 March 2017, up over 80% from 3.5 pence per share in the prior year. 

In addition, the Board proposes a special dividend of 26.1 pence per share.  This proposed return of cash to shareholders reflects the Company's strong cash position, with cash of £8.27m at 31 March 2017 and no debt.

Subject to approval at the Company's annual general meeting the final dividend (6.4 pence per share) and special dividend (26.1 pence per share) will be paid on 23 August 2017 to shareholders on the register as of 28 July 2017, and the shares will become ex dividend on 27 July 2017.  Going forward, the Company expects to grow its regular interim and final dividends broadly in line with earnings per share growth.
