United Utilities appoints Non-Executive Director

United Utilities Group PLC announces the appointment of Paulette Rowe as a non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2017. On appointment, Paulette will become a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.

United Utilities' Chairman, Dr John McAdam said:  "We are delighted to announce Paulette's appointment as a non-executive director. Her first-hand regulatory experience will provide the board with additional perspective and her experience of technology driven business transformation will contribute to United Utilities' customer experience programme and Systems Thinking approach."

Paulette will also be appointed as a non-executive director of United Utilities Water Limited with effect from 1 July 2017.

There are no further details to disclose under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules in relation to Paulette Rowe.

Also, with effect from 1 July 2017, Alison Goligher will relinquish her role as a member of the Audit Committee. Brian May will join the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.
