Total Voting Rights

In conformity with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, Tullow Oil plc today announces that, as at the date of this announcement, its issued share capital consists of 1,382,749,495 ordinary shares of 10 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares").  Each Ordinary Share has one voting right.  No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.  Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in Tullow Oil plc is 1,382,749,495.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Tullow Oil plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
