Notification of transaction by person discharging managerial responsibilities

Burford Capital Limited ("Burford"), a leading global finance firm focused on law, has been notified that Jonathan Molot, Burford's Chief Investment Officer, transferred 4,000,000 of his ordinary shares in Burford to Jonathan Molot LLC, then on to Jonathan T. Molot 2017 Trust, a family trust for estate planning purposes.

Following these transfers, Mr. Molot's interest in shares in Burford (including shares held by the family trust) remains unchanged at 12,839,394 shares, representing approximately 6.17% of Burford's issued share capital.

The relevant Notification of Dealing Forms are included at the end of this announcement.

These notifications are provided in accordance with the requirements of the Market Abuse Regulation.
