BOARD RETIREMENT

WPP announces that Ms Charlene Begley, Non-Executive director, has decided not to stand for re-election at the 2017 AGM to be held on 7 June 2017 and will cease to be a director at the close of that meeting.  Her decision not to stand again is due to the demands of her US schedule.  

The Chairman of WPP, Mr Roberto Quarta, says:  "Charlene has had a hugely positive impact during her three years serving the WPP Board, its Audit Committee and its Nomination and Governance Committee.  She has our gratitude and all best wishes as she steps down from the WPP Board to focus on her US-based Non-Executive director responsibilities and other interests."
