Sound Energy, the African and European focused upstream gas company, announces that it has been notified that James Parson's, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, has today purchased 27,033 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 73.965 pence per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this purchase of Ordinary Shares, James Parsons is interested in 1,668,029 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.25% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
