Release of Lock- up Period on Societe Generale Shares

TBC Bank Group PLC ("TBC PLC") announces that it has waived the 1 year lock-up period in respect to remaining 80% of the shares received by Societe Generale as part of its total consideration for the sale to TBC PLC of JSC Bank Republic on 20 October 2016. Societe Generale holds 2,807,734 shares in TBC PLC and the lock up period applied in relation to 2,246,187 shares. As a result of the waiver, the entire 2,807,734 shares are free from the lock-up restriction with immediate effect.
