OMV Petrom S.A. announces the appointment of Daniel Turnheim as interim member of the Supervisory Board, following Christoph Trentini's waiver of his mandate as member of OMV Petrom S.A. Supervisory Board.

In accordance with article 1537 paragraph (1) of the Romanian Company Law no. 31/1990 and with art. 17.4 of OMV Petrom S.A. 's Articles of Association, Daniel Turnheim was appointed as interim member of the Supervisory Board starting January 1st, 2017 until the next General Meeting of Shareholders.

Daniel Turnheim studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. In 2002, he joined OMV Group where he held several management positions. He was Executive Board member of OMV Petrom SA and Chief Financial Officer between January 2011 and December 2012. During January 2013 - June 2016, Mr. Turnheim held the positon as Senior Vice-president of Corporate Finance within OMV AG. Since July, 2016 he holds the position as Senior Vice-president of Corporate Finance & Controlling.
