Northern Bear announces that it was notified on 22 December 2016 that Keith Soulsby, a Director of the Company, became interested in a further 40,530 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") though the acquisition of Ordinary Shares by Wensley Roofing Ltd Directors Pension Scheme, of which Mr. Soulsby is a beneficiary, at a price of 48.95 pence per Ordinary Share on 22 December 2016 (the "Transaction").

Following the Transaction, Mr. Soulsby is now interested in 771,011 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 4.36 per cent. of the share capital of the Company.
