Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons

The Company was informed on 16 December 2016 that the following transactions had taken place:

1.   Performance Share Plan 2004

On 15 December 2016, 615,384 shares awarded under the terms of the Helical Bar plc Performance Share Plan 2004 were made available to Mr Michael Slade, Chairman of Helical plc. These shares were originally allocated on 25 June 2013 and, having met their performance criteria in the three years to 31 March 2016 such that 100% qualified for vesting, 338,461 shares were available to be transferred to him, net of associated tax liabilities.

2.   Directors Transactions

On 15 December 2016, Mr Michael Slade sold 338,461 shares in Helical plc at 289.23p per share. Following this transaction Mr Slade continued to hold 12,649,357 (10.7%) shares in the Company.
