Burberry Group plc (the "Company") - Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Company received an email from Thornburg Investment Management on 5 December 2016, after market close, attaching a form TR-1 (Notification of Major Interests in Shares) dated 18 August 2014 stating that the "Under 3%" threshold had been crossed on 13 August 2014.  Burberry has found no record of this form having been received by it at that time.
