Director's shareholding and changes in equity

The Company has been notified of the following purchases of ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the Company ("Shares") by Ben Stocks, Chief Executive, pursuant to the Company's dividend reinvestment plan.

Following these dealings, Ben Stocks is interested in 665,731 Shares, representing approximately 1.47 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Following the issue of 150,928 new Shares to satisfy the exercise of SAYE share options during October and November 2016 and 25,000 new Shares to satisfy the exercise of EMI share options in July 2016, the Company has 45,307,680 Shares in issue. There are no Shares held in treasury.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company following the issue of the new Shares is 45,307,680. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
