Trading by Employee Benefit Trust

The Company confirms that it has received notice today that Ocorian, formerly known as Bedell Trustees Limited, as trustee for the Billington Holdings Plc Employee Share Ownership Trust has disposed of 170,993 Ordinary Shares at a price of £2.05, and accordingly now holds 185,919 Ordinary Shares which represents 1.43 % of the issued share capital.

The Directors have been advised by the trustees that this transaction now concludes the series of Ordinary Share sales undertaken by the trustees. This was to enable them to settle a liability due to the Trustees of the Amco ESOP which relates to the disposal of the AMCO businesses in May 2008.
