Results of General Meeting

Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, at the General Meeting of the Company held at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 15 November 2016 at 31 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7QA, both special resolutions as set out in the Notice of General Meeting were duly passed. 

The resolutions include permission for the Directors to reissue up to 7,294,914 of the Company's ordinary shares from Treasury (representing approximately 10% of the total issued share capital of the Company as at 22 September 2016) at a discount of no greater than 4% to the net asset value per ordinary share.
