Important events to be reported:

Secondary public offering by Fondul Proprietatea S.A. with respect to a partial sale of its Shares (in the form of Shares and GDRs) in OMV Petrom S.A. ("Offer") – GDR settlement announcement

Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd. United Kingdom Bucharest Branch, in its capacity as Investment Manager of Fondul Proprietatea S.A. (the "Fund"), hereby would like to inform investors, further to the report on 19 October 2016 announcing the settlement of the Shares, that the transactions for GDRs have been paid/settled as well.

This marks the completion of the Offer whereby the Fund sold a number of 3,641,100,108 total Shares: 3,267,250,908 were sold in the form of Shares, while 373,849,200 were sold in the form of GDRs (i.e. 2,492,328 GDRs as 1 GDR = 150 Shares).

The gross proceeds derived from the sale amount to RON 682,342,730.23 for the Shares transactions and USD 19,190,925.60 for the GDR ones.
