Change of Name

Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that it has changed its name to Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Company plc with immediate effect.

The Company's shares will trade under the new name on the London Stock Exchange with effect from 08.00 a.m. London time on 22 September 2016. The Company's London Stock Exchange TIDM code (ticker) 'ATR' will remain unchanged.

The Company's website address will be amended to reflect the change of name and details of the new address will be released when it goes live.
