Cancellation of Treasury Shares

The Paragon Group of Companies PLC (the "Company") announces the cancellation of treasury shares in accordance with the provisions of section 729 of the Companies Act 2006.

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 and DTR 5 the Company discloses the following information:

Date of cancellation:	18 August 2016
Number of ordinary £1.00 shares cancelled:	13,716,094
Percentage of voting rights attributable to the cancelled shares:	4.87%
Total number of shares held in treasury following the cancellation:	14,000,000
Total number of issued shares following the cancellation:	295,850,629
Total number of voting rights following the cancellation:	281,850,629
Percentage of voting rights attributable to the shares held in treasury following the cancellation of 13,716,094 shares:	4.97%

281,850,629 represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
