Director/PDMR Shareholding

Sound Energy, the Mediterranean focused upstream gas company, announces that it has today been notified that Nicola Whyte, the wife of Sound Energy's Non-Executive Chairman Stephen Whyte, has today purchased 24,171 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 62 pence per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this transaction, Mr. Whyte is now beneficially interested in a total of 165,957 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.03% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The notification below, made in accordance with the requirements of the Market Abuse Regulation, provides further detail.
