Board Changes & Notice of Results

Westminster Group Plc announces that Sir Michael Pakenham, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since January 2008, will be stepping down from the Board at the AGM on 30 June 2016 to concentrate on other duties.  

Commenting on Sir Michael Pakenham's retirement, Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:

"Sir Michael has been a great asset and wise counsel to the Company during his time with us and he has made a positive contribution to our operations both in the UK and across the globe. On behalf of the Company and the Board, I wish to publically thank him for all his efforts. I am pleased to say however that Sir Michael will remain an advisor to the Company.

"We have recently been working with other strong individuals with backgrounds in government and finance with a view to them joining the board. This is consistent with the strategic review of our business previously announced and we will be reporting on further appointments and changes to the Board in due course."

Notice of Results:

Westminster Group will be announcing its final results for the 12 months to 31 December 2015 on Thursday 9 June 2016.
