DS Smith Plc ("DS Smith") has been advised that Jonathan Nicholls, a non-Executive Director of DS Smith, will be appointed as a non-Executive Director on 1 September 2016 and Chairman on 1 October 2016 of Shaftesbury PLC.  As required by the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no other changes to any of the details previously disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6).
