COMPLETION OF PURCHASE OF WALLOP DEFENCE SYSTEMS' ASSETS

Chemring Group PLC announces that on 4 May 2016 it successfully completed the purchase of Wallop Defence Systems' countermeasures and pyrotechnic product-related assets, having received all necessary approvals.

The proposed acquisition was initially announced on 25 November 2015.
