Result of AGM

Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK energy developer of a combined lignite mineral resource and mine mouth power plant located in the Thar desert in the south-east of Sindh Province, Pakistan, announces that it has today held its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 23 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London W1S 1JB.

The Directors of the Company confirm that all resolutions were passed with the exception of resolution three, for the re-election of Mr William Adrian Loader as a Director, which was not passed by poll vote.

The Board has full confidence in Mr Loader and intends to engage with its shareholders on the implication of this vote in relation to resolution three.  The Company will update the market in due course.
