Directorate change

Inchcape plc announces that Rachel Empey will be appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 26 May 2016 and will join the Audit and Nominations Committees upon appointment.

Rachel is currently Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica Deutschland, the largest company listed on the TecDAX, and best known for their O2 brand. Rachel has been CFO since 2011, is also responsible for Strategy and Innovation and has a wide range of European telecommunications experience. Rachel has been with the global Telefónica Group since 2007 during which time she has held various senior management and finance roles in Europe. Rachel began her career with Ernst & Young and has also held positions with the Weir Group plc and Lucent Technologies.  Rachel is a qualified chartered accountant.
