Director purchase of shares

Burford Capital Limited (the "Company") announces that on 23 March 2016 the Company was notified, in accordance with DTR 3.1.2 R, that David Lowe (non-executive director) had bought 40,000 ordinary shares of the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") on 23 March 2016 at 236 pence per Ordinary Share.  Following this purchase, Mr Lowe now holds 200,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.1% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital of the Company.
