7digital (AIM:7DIG), the digital music and radio services company, announces that it has been notified that Paul McGowan, who joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director of the Company in January, purchased 250,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 13.25 pence per Ordinary Share on 29 January 2016.

Following this, his first purchase, Mr McGowan is a beneficial holder of 250,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.23 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
