United Kingdom Bucharest Branch ("the Fund Manager"), in its capacity as Sole Director and Fund Manager of Fondul Proprietatea SA ("the Fund"), would like to inform shareholders that yesterday it received notice from the Bucharest Court that the Financial Supervisory Authority ("FSA") has begun a claim against the Fund with file number 47874/3/2015 ("the File"). In the File, the FSA is seeking payment by the Fund of RON 958,686 (principal and interest) relating to regulatory fees which would normally have been payable to the FSA, but which the Fund was required to pay instead to several FNI investors, in accordance with a garnishment order issued by the Bucharest Court. The amount relates to a successful claim by the FNI investors against CNVM, the former FSA.  The Fund Manager is entirely satisfied that it acted in accordance with the order of the court, and will defend the case and update shareholders of further developments.   Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd.
