Completion of acquisition

On 21 December 2015, Bloomsbury Publishing Plc ("Bloomsbury") announced that it had signed a sale and purchase agreement for Bloomsbury to acquire from RELX (UK) Limited ("RELX") certain LexisNexis and Jordan family law publishing assets of RELX and Jordan Publishing Limited as a pre-condition of the Competition and Markets Authority ("CMA") approval of the purchase of the Jordan publishing business by RELX.

Bloomsbury today announces that clearance has been received from the CMA.  Pursuant to the terms of the sale and purchase agreement with RELX, completion of the acquisition has taken place today.
