Extension of Option to Acquire Interests in Platinum

and Gold Licences in Colombia

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the AIM quoted mineral exploration and development company, announces that, further to its announcements of 16 November 2015 and 22 December 2015, the parties to the Option Agreement (as defined therein) have agreed to extend the Company's option to acquire 100 per cent. of Leeward Islands Exploration LLC (the "Option") to enable the Company to finalise the remainder of its due diligence exercise. Accordingly, the Option is now scheduled to expire on 31 January 2016 (or such later date as the parties may agree) and all other terms announced on 16 November 2015 remain unaltered.
