DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

CPPGroup plc (CPP or the Group), the international assistance business, is pleased to announce that, following receipt of regulatory approval, Abhai Rajguru has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Group. It is also intended that Abhai will be appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Abhai has extensive experience at a senior level in the financial services sector.  He is currently an Independent Member of the Audit Committee of Her Majesty's Treasury, Chairman of Alexander Rosse and Director of DBV Finance.
