Directorate and Company Secretary Change

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Davies as an Executive Director and Company Secretary of the Company with effect from 1st December 2015.

Tim Davies joined the Company as its Chief Financial Officer with effect from 8 April 2015, assuming responsibility for Finance, Actuarial, Legal and Company Secretarial functions.  Prior to joining the Company he had 19 years of insurance experience, most recently with HSBC Life Europe, Dublin, where he spent the last 8 years as Managing Director and as Finance Director for 2 years prior to that. Prior to this he was Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Dublin and Boston, having worked 9 years within their insurance and financial services division.

Philip Gregory, Chairman of the Board, said: 

"I welcome Tim to the Board and congratulate him on his appointment.  In the seven months since he joined the Company, Tim has made an excellent contribution to our Finance and Actuarial activities.  His insurance and finance expertise will be an important addition to the Board as the Group implements its strategy for growth."
