High performance VPXTM server board

Concurrent Technologies Plc, a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, aerospace, telecommunications, transportation, scientific and industrial markets, is pleased to announce the launch of their first processor board based on the Intel® Xeon® processor D-1500 family.

The TR C4x/msd will initially feature the 8-core Intel® Xeon® processor and up to 32GB of memory for high performance embedded computing applications in the military, aerospace and transportation markets. With a wide range of options for disk drives and I/O interfaces, this board is ideal for storage server applications and high speed networking applications. The TR C4x/msd can also be used to construct multiple processor cluster applications using several boards with high-bandwidth links.

Initial shipments of air-cooled variants are expected to be followed with rugged, conduction-cooled variants to ensure that this product will appeal to applications within both benign and harsh environments.
