Quarterly Announcement of Funds under Management
Brooks Macdonald Group plc (the "Group"), the AIM listed integrated wealth management group, today announces an update on its funds under management ('FUM') for its first quarter ended 30 September 2015.
Funds under Management
Discretionary
As at 30 September discretionary funds under management totalled GBP £7.33 billion, a decrease of 1.07% (30 June 2015: £7.41 billion). As a comparison the WMA balanced index decreased by 3.85% over the quarter.
This represents all our discretionary funds across the Group (Asset Management, Funds and International) and reflected a combination of investment performance (£-263m) and net new business (£180m) over the quarter.

Property assets under administration
The Group's property management business Braemar Estates had property assets under administration of £1.073 billion, (30 June 2015: £1.14 billion).
Third party assets under administration
The Group now has third party assets under administration in excess of £260 million (30 June 2015: >£255million).

"Investment markets have been weak in the first quarter which has an inevitable impact on funds under management and financial performance. However we are pleased that new business is robust and demand for our risk rated investment solutions from both professional intermediaries and private clients continue to gain traction."
