7digital (AIM:7DIG), the digital music and radio services company, announces that it has been notified that Simon Cole, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, purchased 40,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 10.75p per Ordinary Share on 5 October 2015.

Following this purchase, Mr Cole is a beneficial holder of 2,254,544 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.1 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
