Sound Oil, the Mediterranean focused upstream gas company, announces that it has been notified that Stephen Whyte, a non-executive director of the Company, has today purchased 68,646 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 14.55 pence per ordinary share.

As a result, Stephen Whyte is now interested in 68,646 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.01% of Sound Oil's issued ordinary share capital.
