Board Appointment

Dunelm Group plc ("Dunelm"), the UK's leading homewares retailer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Ruis as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 10 September 2015. 

Peter has been Chief Executive of Jigsaw, the fashion retailer, since 2013, prior to which he worked at the John Lewis Partnership where he held several roles including Executive Buying and Brand Director. In this role he launched the new store concepts for the homewares category and introduced John Lewis's 'At Home' offer. Peter started his career at Marks & Spencer plc and has also held senior roles with both Ted Baker and Levi Strauss & Co.

Chairman of Dunelm, Andy Harrison, said:

"I am very pleased to welcome Peter to the Dunelm Board. He is a highly experienced and successful retailer with a background in both large and entrepreneurial retail organisations. His skills in growing and transforming retail businesses will be a great asset to the senior team as Dunelm enters its next phase of growth."
