ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC (the "Group" or "Arbuthnot") today announces that Ian Dewar will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2015.  Ian will also become a Non-Executive Director of Arbuthnot Latham & Co., Limited, also with effect from 1 August 2015.

Commenting on the appointment Sir Henry Angest, Chairman and CEO, said:
