PetroNeft received notification on 21 July 2015 from General Invest Overseas S.A. that it holds an aggregate interest in 124,678,700 ordinary shares of €0.01 each which represents c. 17.63%* of the issued share capital of PetroNeft as at 21 July 2015.  General Invest Overseas S.A. have stated that the nature of their interest is for capital gain and that the investment is part of their long-term portfolio.

*This percentage shareholding is based on a shares in issue figure of 707,245,906 ordinary shares.
