GLEESON STRATEGIC LAND - UPDATE

MJ Gleeson plc (GLE.L) has unconditionally exchanged on the sale of an 18 acre site in Staffordshire, which has planning permission for the development of 140 homes. 

Whilst completion will occur in the next financial year, there are no conditions to satisfy prior to completion and, accordingly, the sale will be recognised in the current financial year ending 30 June 2015.

The Board now expects the results for the financial year to be ahead of its expectations at the time of its last announcement on 22 June.

A trading update for the year to 30 June 2015 will be issued on Friday 3 July.
