Non-Executive Director Change

The Board of Dignity plc announces that Ishbel Macpherson, a Non-Executive Director of Dignity since January 2009, has confirmed that she intends to step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. She will continue as a Non-Executive Director until such time as a suitable replacement has been found.

Peter Hindley, Chairman of Dignity, commented: "Ishbel has made a valuable contribution to Dignity over the more than six years both as a Non-Executive Director and latterly Chair of our Audit Committee and I would like to put on record my appreciation of her hard work and commitment over what has been a very successful period for Dignity."
