Drilling Update - Nervesa Second Well

Sound Oil, the Mediterranean focused upstream oil and gas company, is pleased to announce that the second Nervesa well has now been drilled (through the Conglomerati del Montello formation to the top of the Marne di San Donà formation) to the next casing point at a measured vertical depth of 1,295 metres.

Operations are now in progress to install the 9 5/8" casing.

The well is therefore now approximately 200 metres above the first reservoir objective.

The Company invites shareholders to observe operations at the drill site through the daily webcam facility which has been installed on site and is available via www.soundoil.co.uk.
