Changes to membership of Board Committees

Direct Line Insurance Group plc (the "Company") announces that the Board of Directors has agreed the following appointments with effect from the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting on 13 May 2015, at which time Glyn Jones, Senior Independent Director and current Chair of the Investment Committee, will step down, as announced on 16 March 2015:

Priscilla Vacassin, Non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, will be appointed as a member of the Nomination Committee; and

Clare Thompson, Non-executive Director and Chair of the CSR Committee, will be appointed as Chair of the Investment Committee, of which she is already a member, while the search for a new Non-executive Director is carried out.
