SPECTRIS ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF BOARD COMMITTEES

27 February 2015 - Spectris plc ("Spectris) (LSE: SXS), the productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls company, today announces changes to the membership of its Board Committees. These follow the appointment of two additional non-executive directors with effect from 1st January 2015 and today's approval and release of the 2014 preliminary results announcement, and reflect the imminent retirement of John Warren (currently Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee) at the 2015 Annual General Meeting.

The Board Committees are now constituted as follows:

Audit and Risk:

Bill Seeger (Chairman), Peter Chambré, Ulf Quellmann, Martha Wyrsch.

Remuneration:

Russell King (Chairman), Peter Chambré, Lisa Davis, Ulf Quellmann.

Nomination:

Dr John Hughes CBE (Chairman), John O'Higgins, Peter Chambré, Lisa Davis, Russell King, Martha Wyrsch.

These changes are effective immediately.
