Result of General Meeting to approve Equity Placing

Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK coal developer of a 1.4 billion tonne lignite resource located in the south-eastern area of the Sindh Province, Pakistan, announces that, following the announcement of its £3.37m equity placing on 9 February 2015, a General Meeting was held today at 23 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London W1S 1JB to seek approval for the issue of 535,000,000  new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company (the "New Shares").

The Directors of the Company confirm that all resolutions were passed.

Application has been made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, with dealings in the New Shares expected to commence on or around 3 March 2015.
