New MJ Gleeson Capital Reduction

Further to the announcement by M J Gleeson Group Limited, previously M J Gleeson Group Public Limited Company, on 19 December 2014, MJ Gleeson PLC (the "Company") announces that the High Court issued an order confirming the New MJ Gleeson Capital Reduction on 21 January 2015.  The order has today been registered with the Registrar of Companies and accordingly the New MJ Gleeson Capital Reduction has now become effective and the nominal value of each ordinary share in the Company has been reduced from 146 pence to 2 pence.

The Company confirms that, following the New MJ Gleeson Capital Reduction, the total number of ordinary shares of 2 pence each in issue as at 22 January 2015 remains unchanged at 53,697,480 shares.

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement have the meanings given to them in the Circular published by M J Gleeson Group Limited, previously M J Gleeson Group Public Limited Company, on 4 November 2014.
