Clarification

Aukett Swanke Group Plc ('Aukett Swanke'), the AIM listed international architects headquartered in London, would like to make it clear that it has no ownership connection with Swanke Hayden Connell Limited and Swanke Hayden Connell & Partners LLP of New York (together 'SHCA'), who have just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Aukett Swanke was previously called Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc and changed its name to Aukett Swanke after acquiring Swanke Hayden Connell Europe Limited, the European operations of Swanke Hayden Connell, in December 2013, directly from its individual owners. Historically Swanke Hayden Connell Europe Limited did share a website and common trading name with SHCA. The only ongoing relationship comprises residual, de minimis, arms' length trading.
