Posting of Circular and Notice of Requisitioned General Meeting

The Company announced on 18 November 2014 that a requisition had been received from Secure Nominees Limited (the "Requisition"). The Requisition was sent for the purpose of requiring the directors of the Company to convene a general meeting of the Company for the purpose of considering resolutions to approve a number of changes to the board of directors of the Company and to the Company's investing policy (the "Requisitioned Proposals").

Origo announces that a circular is being posted to shareholders today together with a notice convening a requisitioned general meeting of the Company for the purpose of putting the Requisitioned Proposals to shareholders (the "Requisitioned Resolutions"). A copy of the circular being sent to shareholders will be available on the Company's website (www.origoplc.com) shortly.

The requisitioned general meeting of the Company is to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 16 January 2015 at 33-37 Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 1LB.

The Independent Directors unanimously recommend that you DO NOT support the Requisitioned Proposals and VOTE AGAINST ALL of the Requisitioned Resolutions. The relevant Independent Director shall abstain in relation to any recommendation in respect of his or her removal.
