Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Cluff Natural Resources Plc, the natural resources investing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Nunn as the Company's Chief Operating Officer.

Andrew joined the Company in May 2014 as Senior Project Manager and has been promoted to the Board with immediate effect.  Prior to joining CLNR, Andrew was Exploration Manager of Dart Energy Limited ('Dart'), where he was responsible for planning and execution of coal bed methane, shale gas and tight oil and gas assets across Europe. Andrew is a Chartered Geologist.

Andrew James Nunn (age 40) holds options over 3,000,000 ordinary shares representing

1.94 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Cluff Natural Resources currently has 100% working interest in eight Deep Underground Coal Gasification ('UCG') Licences in the UK covering a total of 613 km².

In addition, it has been granted five promote licences covering a total of eleven blocks in an emerging gas province of the Southern North Sea by the Department of Energy and Climate Change ('DECC') for conventional gas exploration. 

It is the Company's long-term strategy to deliver conventional gas to the UK as well as a determination to safely and cleanly convert offshore coal to gas using UCG technology.
