Appointment of director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Boyce to the Board, as Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Darren was CEO of Proximity Communications Limited ("Proximity"), the acquisition of which was announced by Maintel on 27 October 2014. Proximity was created in 2009 following a merger between Applinet and the Unified Group. Darren was managing director of Applinet at the time and took the role of group CEO when the two companies came together, helping to formulate the business plan and execute a growth strategy until the business was sold to Maintel. Darren was previously sales director at LANBase plc which was acquired by Workplace Technologies plc. Workplace Technologies was subsequently acquired soon after by NTL Incorporated in 2000, forming part of one of the largest communications providers in the UK.

John Booth, Non-Executive Chairman of Maintel, commented:
