Pan African Resources PLC(Incorporated and registered in England and Wales under Companies Act 1985 withregistered number 3937466 on 25 February 2000)Share code on AIM: PAFShare code on JSE: PANISIN: GB0004300496("Pan African")Section 54 Notices of orders at Barberton Mines and Evander Gold MinesPan African shareholders are advised that on Thursday, 13 November 2014,operations at Barberton Mines ("Barberton") were suspended by the Mine Healthand Safety Inspectorate ("MHSI") of the South African Department of MineralResources. This was as a result of a Section 54 notice of orders that wasissued after deviations were identified by the MHSI in respect of certainoperating procedures and administrative processes pertaining to the Fairviewlamp room, self-rescuers and gas monitors.Management, together with the mine's Safety and Health Committee ("SHC"), havesince corrected the deviations, and action plans were presented to the MHSI.
